अधिकारियों ने बताया कि मध्य प्रदेश के उज्जैन में सोमवार को महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में आग लगने से कम से कम 14 पुजारी घायल हो गए। होली के अवसर पर मंदिर के गर्भगृह के अंदर भस्म आरती के दौरान आग लगने की घटना हुई। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने बताया कि गुलाल फेंकते समय आग लग गई।
बताया जा रहा है कि आरती के दौरान गुलाल डालने के बाद आग लग गई. गर्भगृह में धुलेंडी के चलते कवर लगाया गया है, जिसने आग पकड़ी और श्रद्धालुओं पर गिर गया. सभी घायलों को जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया गया और सभी खतरे से बाहर हैं.

At least 14 priests were injured after a fire broke out at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain on Monday, officials said. The fire occurred during the bhasma aarti inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on the occassion of Holi. Eyewitnesses said the fire broke out while gulaal was being thrown.
