एक अन्य घायलपुलिस ने बताया कि हैचबैक कार चलाने वाले व्यक्ति की पहचान अशोका गार्डन निवासी इमरान के रूप में हुई है, जो कार को टैक्सी के रूप में चलाता था।
भोपाल (मध्य प्रदेश): अरेरा हिल्स इलाके में शुक्रवार सुबह करीब 3 बजे एक हैचबैक कार और एसयूवी की टक्कर में एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई और एक अन्य घायल हो गया. पुलिस ने बताया कि टक्कर के कारण एसयूवी पलट गई और उसे चला रहे व्यक्ति की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
कार के अंदर बैठे एक अन्य व्यक्ति को मामूली चोटें आईं और उसका अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है। अरेरा हिल्स पुलिस स्टेशन स्टाफ के मुताबिक, मृतक कपिल जेठानी (36) एमपी नगर में मोबाइल फोन की दुकान चलाते थे। कपिल और उसका भाई नवीन अपनी एसयूवी से अपने घर जा रहे थे।
जैसे ही वे अरेरा हिल्स पुलिस स्टेशन के पास पहुंचे, बाईं ओर चल रही एक हैचबैक कार ने एसयूवी को टक्कर मार दी, जिससे टक्कर के कारण एसयूवी पलट गई। कार चला रहे कपिल की कार की विंडस्क्रीन से सिर टकराने से मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
नवीन और कपिल को बाहर देख दर्शक दौड़ पड़े। राहगीरों ने बताया कि दुर्घटना के दौरान हैचबैक कार के एयरबैग खुल गए, जिससे उसका चालक बच गया। लेकिन एसयूवी का एयरबैग नहीं खुला, जिससे कपिल की मौत हो गई। हादसे में नवीन को मामूली चोटें आईं, उन्हें नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि हैचबैक कार चलाने वाले व्यक्ति की पहचान अशोका गार्डन निवासी इमरान के रूप में हुई है, जो कार को टैक्सी के रूप में चलाता था। उन्हें भी मामूली चोटें आईं और अस्पताल में उनका इलाज किया गया। शुक्रवार सुबह उन्हें छुट्टी दे दी गई। पुलिस ने बताया कि कपिल के परिवार में पत्नी और दो बच्चे हैं।
Bhopal: 1 Dead, Another Injured As SUV Overturns Following Collision With Car
The man driving the hatchback car has been identified as Imran, a resident of Ashoka Garden, who used to drive the car as a taxi, the police said.
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): One person died and another was injured when a hatchback car and an SUV collided in Arera Hills area at about 3 am on Friday. The SUV overturned as a result of collision, and the man driving it died on the spot, the police said.
Another man sitting inside the car received minor injuries and is undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to Arera Hills police station staff, deceased Kapil Jethani (36) ran a mobile phone shop in MP Nagar. Kapil nd his brother Naveen were on way to their house in their SUV.
As they reached near Arera Hills police station, a hatchback car running on the left hit the SUV, which overturned as a result of collision. Kapil, who was driving the car, died on the spot after his head banged against car’s windscreen.
Onlookers rushed to the spot, out Naveen and Kapil. Passers-by said that the airbags of hatchback car opened during the crash due to which its driver survived. But the airbags of the SUV did not open, leading to Kapil’s death. Naveen, who had sustained minor injuries in the accident, was rushed to a nearby hospital. The man driving the hatchback car has been identified as Imran, a resident of Ashoka Garden, who used to drive the car as a taxi, the police said. He too, received minor injuries and was treated at a hospital. He was discharged on Friday morning. Kapil is survived by wife and two children, the police added.
