भोपाल (मध्य प्रदेश): राजीव गांधी प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय (आरजीपीवी) में 19.48 करोड़ रुपये की वित्तीय अनियमितता के मामले में विशेष जांच दल (एसआईटी) कुछ संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों से पूछताछ कर रही है। इस बीच, मामले के मुख्य आरोपी पूर्व कुलपति प्रोफेसर सुनील कुमार, पूर्व रजिस्ट्रार आरएस राजपूत और पूर्व वित्त नियंत्रक ऋषिकेश वर्मा पुलिस की पकड़ से दूर हैं. एसआईटी के सदस्य फरार आरोपियों के ठिकानों की जानकारी हासिल करने की पुरजोर कोशिश कर रहे हैं. अभी तक एसआईटी को इस बात की जानकारी नहीं है कि मुख्य आरोपी कुमार और राजपूत भारत में हैं या देश छोड़कर भाग गए हैं. एसआईटी के एक सदस्य ने बताया कि घटना के सिलसिले में कुछ संदिग्ध लोगों से पूछताछ की जा रही है. पूछताछ किए जा रहे लोगों की संख्या बताने से इनकार करते हुए इस अधिकारी ने कहा कि दलित संघ के बारे में भी जानकारी जुटाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है, जिसे मामले में लाभार्थियों में से एक के रूप में नामित किया गया है।
एसआईटी आरोपियों के खिलाफ मजबूत मामला बनाने के लिए दस्तावेज भी जुटा रही है। एसआईटी ने आव्रजन विभाग से मदद मांगी एसआईटी ने यह जानने के लिए आव्रजन विभाग को पत्र लिखा है कि मुख्य आरोपी देश छोड़कर भाग गए हैं या नहीं. आव्रजन विभाग की प्रतिक्रिया का इंतजार है. ऐसी संभावना है कि राजपूत ऑस्ट्रेलिया पहुंचने में कामयाब हो गए होंगे. एबीवीपी ने मंत्रियों को सौंपा ज्ञापन मुख्य आरोपी को गिरफ्तार करने में पुलिस की विफलता से निराश अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (एबीवीपी) के सदस्यों ने विभिन्न निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों से मुलाकात की और उन्हें एक ज्ञापन सौंपा, जिसमें उनसे आरोपी की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी सुनिश्चित करने का अनुरोध किया गया। उन्होंने मंत्री विश्वास सारंग, विधायक भगवान दास सबनानी और विधायक रामेश्वर शर्मा को ज्ञापन सौंपा.
