मुंबई में होने वाले 15 प्राचीन जैन प्रतिमाओं की नीलामी का विरोध जैन संगठन करेगा. यह घोषणा विश्व जैन संगठन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष संजय जैन ने की है.
गिरिडीह . मुंबई में होने वाले 15 प्राचीन जैन प्रतिमाओं की नीलामी का विरोध जैन संगठन करेगा. यह घोषणा विश्व जैन संगठन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष संजय जैन ने की है. उन्होंने बताया कि 16 अप्रैल 2024 को मुंबई में टोड़ीवाला ऑक्शन द्वारा 15 जैन प्रतिमाओं की नीलामी का निर्णय लिया गया है. 16 अप्रैल को इन 15 प्राचीन प्रतिमाओं की नीलामी का निर्णय जैन धर्म और तीर्थंकरों का अपमान है. उन्होंने कहा कि यह कानूनन अपराध है और इसपर सरकार अविलंब रोक लगाये. कहा कि मुंबई के टोड़ीवाला ऑक्शन के द्वारा ताज महल पैलेस में नीलामी किये जाने के लिए वेबसाइट पर सूचना दी गयी है. प्राचीन पूज्य जैन तीर्थंकर प्रतिमाओं के लिए लाखों रुपये की बोली लगवाना दुखद व अपमानजनक है. किसी भी कीमत पर जैन समाज यह नीलामी नहीं होने देगा. श्री जैन ने इसकी शिकायत मुंबई पुलिस, सीबीआई, पुरातत्व विभाग, संस्कृति मंत्रालय और राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग से भी की है. विश्व जैन संगठन के मीडिया प्रभारी आकाश जैन ने बताया कि पुरावशेष व बहुमूल्य कलाकृति अधिनियम के अनुसार प्राचीन भारतीय मूर्तियों को इंटरनेट पर नीलाम नहीं किया जा सकता और भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण द्वारा भी सूचना के अधिकार के तहत संगठन को इस बाबत सूचित किया गया है. कहा कि सख्त कानून न होने के कारण प्राचीन प्रतिमाओं को भारत में चोरी छिपे बाहर ले जाया जा रहा है और इसकी बिक्री की जा रही है. उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि सीबीआई और क्राइम ब्रांच उक्त पूरे मामले का पर्दाफाश नहीं करती है और 16 अप्रैल 2024 को होने वाले नीलामी पर रोक नहीं लगाती है तो देशव्यापी विरोध किया जायेगा.

संजय जैन ने बताया कि पुरावशेष और बहुमूल्य कलाकृति अधिनियम के अनुसार प्राचीन धार्मिक मूर्तियों को इंटरनेट पर नीलाम नहीं किया जा सकता और भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण द्वारा भी सूचना के अधिकार के तहत संगठन को सूचित किया गया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि सख्त कानून न होने के कारण प्राचीन प्रतिमाओं को भारत में पुरातत्व में पंजीकृत कराए चोरी से भारत से बाहर ले जाकर एक ऑक्शन हाउस द्वारा दूसरे को बिक्री करना और नीलाम करना स्वीकार नहीं। सीबीआई और क्राइम ब्रांच को कार्यवाही कर पूरे रैकेट का पर्दाफाश करना होगा। यदि संस्कृति मंत्रालय, पुरातत्व विभाग और पुलिस विभाग द्वारा 16 अप्रैल 2024 की नीलामी पर प्रतिबंध लगाकर भारत में इन प्रतिमाओं के पंजीकरण सहित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अवैध बिक्री का पर्दाफाश नहीं किया तो मुंबई, दिल्ली सहित देशव्यापी विरोध किया जाएगा जिसकी पूर्ण जिम्मेवारी नीलामी करने वाले और सरकार की होगी।

Akash Jain, media in-charge of Vishwa Jain Organization, said that according to the Antiquities and Precious Artifacts Act, ancient Indian sculptures cannot be auctioned on the internet and the Archaeological Survey of India has also informed the organization in this regard under the Right to Information Act. Said that due to lack of strict laws, ancient statues are being secretly taken out of India and sold. He has warned that if the CBI and Crime Branch do not expose the entire matter and do not ban the auction to be held on April 16, 2024, then there will be nationwide protests.

National President of Vishwa Jain Organization, Shri Sanjay Jain said that bids worth lakhs of rupees will be placed on its website for the proposed Classical Indian Art #3 auction at Taj Mahal Palace by Todi Auction, Mumbai on 16 April 2024. It is sad and insulting, and the Jain community will not allow this auction to happen at any cost and a complaint has been lodged with Mumbai Police, CBI, Archeology Department, Culture Ministry and National Minority Commission.
Sanjay Jain said that as per the Antiquities and Precious Artifacts Act, ancient religious idols cannot be auctioned on the internet and the Archaeological Survey of India has also informed the organization under the Right to Information Act.
He said that due to lack of strict law, it is not acceptable to get the ancient statues registered in Archaeology in India, taken out of India by theft and then sold and auctioned by one auction house to another. CBI and Crime Branch will have to take action and expose the entire racket. If the Ministry of Culture, Archaeology Department and Police Department do not expose the illegal sale of these statues at the international level by banning the auction on 16 April 2024 in India, including registration of these statues, then there will be a nationwide protest including Mumbai, Delhi, for which the auctioneer and the auctioneer will be fully responsible.
